Who
are the Friends of Medway Dog Park and what do they do?
The Friends of Medway Dog Park is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for dog owners and their pets while promoting a community spirit for Medway and surrounding communities. The Friends of Medway Dog Park seeks to provide funding, information, education, and volunteer resources with the sole purpose of supporting and maintaining the Henry Garnsey Canine Recreation Park (the Medway Dog Park) established by Tim Dumas as his Eagle Scout Project in October 2002. Since the Medway Dog Park is not supported by tax payer dollars, a non-profit group is necessary in order for us to maintain the park, supply poop bags, benches, maintenance needs and provide education on park etiquette and park rules. For more information about this
non-profit organization,
please contact Friends of Medway Dog Park by e-mail at
. Also, go to the Medway Dog Park web site for the latest
