Volunteers and Donations

Henry Garnsey Canine Recreation Park

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assure the continued success of the off leash dog park.  Please contact the Friends of Medway Dog Park by e-mail at to find out how you can help.

Users of the dog park are required to "clean-up" after their own dog.  Of course, we all know there will be a time when you may not see your dog do his/her "thing".  We need people to volunteer to "police" the grounds and pickup "extras" on a routine basis to help keep the park from becoming unsightly and smelly. Volunteers are needed to help maintain the grounds and shrubbery.

Donations

Donations in any amount are needed and greatly appreciated.  Support your local dog park by making a donation today to the Friends of Medway Dog Park, a nonprofit organization supporting community education and the dog park for area residents and their dogs.  Please make your check payable to:

Friends of Medway Dog Park
c/o Strata Bank
81 Main Street,
Medway, MA 02053

Donations can be made directly at any branch office of Strata Bank.  Your donations will provide funding for the continued success of Henry Garnsey Canine Recreation Park in Medway.  This off leash dog park was completely funded by your generous donations.  Donations are needed to pay for dog park maintenance, to purchase supplies for use in the dog park and to support community education
for area residents and their dogs.  Taxpayer funds will not be used for taking care of the dog park.

There are so many generous people in the community who gave support to Tim Dumas in building the Henry Garnsey Canine Recreation Park.  Many local businesses and "dog lovers" donated labor and materials while some supplied materials at greatly reduced costs.  The Medway Lions Club receives a very special recognition here and a big thank you for their very generous contribution which was used to offset some of the cost for the fence at the dog park.  Family members, friends, and citizens from Medway have donated very generously.  We thank the many non-resident dog owners and dog lovers who have made generous donations to support the off-leash park.  We thank all those who gave Tim Dumas the support and recognition he deserves for contributing so much to his community.
